Exciting News about LOBs in DB2 9 for z/OS White paper
Abstract
Read this presentation to gain new insight on large objects (LOBs). This presentation discusses new features relating to LOBs in DB2® for z/OS® Version 9.1, and ways to use LOBs. Some other topics covered in this presentation are file reference variable support in Version 9.1, LOB support in DB2 utilities, and improved LOB handling for LOAD and UNLOAD in Version 9.1. Some preliminary performance results are also discussed.
