Extracting SYSLGRNX content for loading to a user table Forum/discussion group
Abstract
This sample JCL and DDL unloads the contents of the DB2 directory table SYSIBM.SYSLGRNX and loads the data back to a user DB2 table for research purposes.
Content
To run this example, download the attached JCL and upload it to your z/OS® system. If you have access to DFSORT, download V32. Otherwise download V31.
Make changes to the JCL as indicated in the comments. If you don't have DFSORT, you may still want to reference V32 as it has additional queries which can help evaluate how to set PCLOSET and PCLOSEN.
