CF Levels in Version 8

Problem
Is DB2® Version 8 compatible with the coupling facility environments that we use with DB2 Version 7? Or do we need to upgrade our coupling facilities to accommodate DB2 Version 8?


Solution
The only requirement is to have a level that is in service. Most data sharing customers want to be at CFLEVEL 12 or 13 or perhaps even 14. You can read more about CFLEVELs on the web:
