DB2 for z/OS Distributed Performance Problem Determination
 
Abstract
Trying to solve any database performance problem can sometimes be a challenge. Now add a network, and that challenge becomes more daunting. The presenter will cover the tools and techniques he uses to determine where the bulk of time occurred so that a person's time is more wisely spent diagnosing the largest time consumer. As a prelude, he will also briefly discuss what should happen in a DB®2 UDB for z/OS® and OS/390® client/server environment.
