Abstract
This presentation is a practical implementation of a DB2® performance database using the DB2 Instrumentation Facility and DB2PM. You can monitor:

- lock suspension, timeouts, and deadlocks (locking)
- audit table access (audit)
- dynamic SQL, sort information, RID pool details and buffer pool statistics at the data set level (performance traces)
- DB2 thresholds (exceptions)
