How much code changes between compatibility mode and new-function mode?


None. In DB2® UDB for z/OS®, Version 8, the same code base runs in both compatibility mode and new-function mode. When you are running DB2, Version
8 in compatibility mode, DB2 has logic to prevent applications from accessing the new function.
